Common questions
My dashboard says “No recent data”
Open Settings → Health Data and check that Apple Health or Health Connect access is granted and that your wearable has synced to the phone recently. Tap “Sync now”. Ring Vitals never fabricates readings, so a missing metric stays blank until real data arrives.
Health Connect is unavailable or needs an update
Health Connect requires Android 9 or later. On Android 13 and earlier, install or update the Health Connect app from Google Play. On Android 14 and later it is part of the system; check for system updates if the app reports it needs updating.
Restore Ring Vitals+
Settings → Ring Vitals+ → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Ring Vitals account you used when subscribing. Subscriptions bought through Apple are managed in the App Store; subscriptions bought through Google are managed in Google Play.
Export or delete my data
Settings → Privacy → Export Ring Vitals data produces JSON and CSV files. Delete local data or delete your account from the same screen, or use the web deletion page.
Why does HRV look different from my other app?
Apple Health reports HRV as SDNN, while Health Connect and Oura typically report RMSSD. These are different calculations. Ring Vitals labels the method and keeps separate baselines rather than mixing them.
